For over 35 years LSS has prepared surveyor examinees to take and pass the NCEES licensing examination and the pass rate for our graduates has been "through the roof!!" The Hewlett Packard HP-35s calculator will be provided to you as part of your seminar package for this seminar along with a clean copy of the NCEES Sample Questions and Solutions; the NCEES Supplied-Reference Handbook (Revised).
On January 23, 2009 (Friday), from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and on January 24, 2009 (Saturday), from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily (registration on the first day starts at 12:30 p.m.), we'll produce our seminar to help you pass the NCEES Engineer's Exam in a hotel meeting room at the:

Since you are personally responsible for your sleeping room charges, we have negotiated a sleeping room rate for you (single or double occupancy) of $49.00 per night plus applicable taxes. Be sure to tell the hotel that you are registering for "LSS SEMINARS" to get the negotiated rate. We suggest that you arrange to check in on Thursday evening, January 22, 2009, so that you'll be rested and ready to start first thing in the morning on Friday. If you don't plan to stay at the seminar hotel there is an additional surcharge of $50.00. Special note: This hotel is located at the main gate of Disney World.
If you're going to take either of the National Engineer's Exams in any state you need to be at this seminar. Ted Madson and Michael Presley will be your instructors and trainers. These exams require special skills. The ability to perform basic surveying math quickly and efficiently. The ability to answer questions quickly and confidently. The ability to quickly read and understand questions stated in words as well as those stated with numbers.
You probably have the ability to score between 60 and 65 points without our seminar; however, it takes 70 points or better to pass! The sheer volume of questions asked on these exams make it necessary to move quickly through each exam. There's no time for "exam stress" or self-doubts. here's where our seminar makes the difference.
Sure, if you had unlimited time you could easily pass these exams. The problem is that same techniques that you use in your everyday work won't get you through these exams. Without our seminar and your computer from work to rely on to do the math, you'll be intimidated by the other examinees at the exam, and you won't have a strategy to take the exam (that’s right, you can actually use strategies to improve your chances of passing).
Knowing how to use your calculator efficiently to solve the problems on the exam will be extremely important also. Having the equations you need on hand can significantly reduce the time that you need to solve mathematics problems. Our seminar can point the way for you there too. We actually take you through an intense training program to make sure that you know how to do the work on the exam confidently and quickly.
At this point in the process you’re still in complete control of the exam outcome. You already know that the exam process is expensive in time, money and emotions. In spite of this, for your own reasons (income, prestige, promotions, etc.) you’ve made the decision to take the exam to become licensed. You now have another decision to make: Do you want to pass the exam in April or do you want to take it over and over? The choice is yours.
We can put you in a classroom full of people just like you who are also going to take the exam in April. They’ll bring their study guides and materials to help you learn how to answer questions that you may have about surveying issues that may be on the exam. Be assured that we will do everything legally and ethically possible to make sure that you pass the exam.
You’ll receive individual assistance from your instructor and a
study group will be formed for Friday night to tutor you through the problems you don’t understand. You’ll make friends and network with others to increase your confidence that you’re not alone. You’ll be in an environment that will require you to study – no work or family distractions.One of the major advantages of the seminar is that it forces you to take time off to devote to study. Your at-work and after-work life probably now consumes all of your time. If you have a family as well as a boss, you aren’t spending the time necessary to prepare for the exam.
We take all major credit cards. Our only requirement is that your tuition be paid in full before you sit for the seminar.
In this seminar you’ll spend three intense days learning to use your NCEES/Board approved HP 35s calculator to efficiently do the math that you're likely to encounter on the exam as well as taking short exams that we call "Windsprints" to build up your reading speed, reading comprehension and confidence. During the entire seminar we will share exam-taking strategies and tips for you to use on the exam.

The fee for the 12 hour "NCEES Engineer's Exam Review & Exam Prep Seminar" is $595.00 and includes all clean materials (The Hewlett Packard HP-35s calculator will be provided to you as part of your seminar package for this seminar along with a clean copy of the NCEES Sample Questions and Solutions; the NCEES Supplied-Reference Handbook (Revised)). The use of unmarked written materials and unprogrammed calculators are critical to the success of this seminar.
