ANOTHER SECRET WEAPON FOR TAKING THE SURVEYOR'S EXAM!

In response to numerous requests for hydrology software with which to take the surveyor's licensing exam in several states, we are pleased to present the LSS Hydrology Pack as an add-on the the LSS Miracle Software.

Most surveying exams which require proficiency in hydrology ask the examinee to determine values for "Q" (Discharge Flow Rate expressed in cubic feet per second) and "V" (Velocity expressed as feet per second. Additionally examinees are often asked to compute the size of pipe (in inches) necessary to accommodate a flow with the the parameters of "Q", "S" (Slope in percentage), and "n" (Roughness Coefficient) known. We have prepared software to provide answers to those problems with the LSS Hydrology Pack.

The LSS Hydrology Pack

• PROGRAM "H":
  This program contains a listing of the hydrology programs on the HP 35s Hydrology Pack.
   
• PROGRAM "J":
  This program computes a value of "Q" based on runoff.
   
• PROGRAM "K":
  This program computes pipe sizes based on input flow.
   
• PROGRAM "L":
  This program computes values for "V" and "Q" for a "V" shaped ditch.
   
• PROGRAM "O":
  This program computes values for "V" and "Q" for a "Box" shaped ditch.
   
• PROGRAM "Y":
  This program computes values for "V" and "Q" for a "Trapezoidal" shaped ditch.

Please note that we have left program "E" available for users to insert their own program. Additionally, enough space is left in the calculator to expand the coordinate storage to more than the 100 points provided by our software.
